Ticker Truths

A couple of weeks back, early morning around 7, was working out in the gym.
I was in a bad mood, full grumpy and grumbling to myself. In between sets was taking a breather by gazing at some song playing on the TV monitors placed all over. Sometime then I noticed the ticker running at the bottom of the screen on MTV.
That day they were running the daily horoscope as one liners on colleges i.e. students, profs and canteen. Like for Leo it was something like "Attend coll today, take up your attendance by 0.0001%" or for Pisces "You bunked college and no one noticed". That caught my interest and I wondered what was the one liner they had for Scorpio.
Missed it a couple of time between sets. Finally landed up on the tread mill still all grumpy and pissed. Still musing about the events of the day gone.
At that very point Scorpio's ticker came on screen. Just three words.
"Stop being juvenile"
For some reason that really caught me unaware. I wasn't expecting this. This had nothing to do with college life. And at my present state of mind it wasn't even funny.
But it did get into my head like a bad cold refusing to go. Found myself thinking about it at sometime or the other throughout the day. And by night I was convinced of the truth behind it though I knew it was just a random sentence.
I was being juvenile. I did need to straighten up my thought process.
My conclusion has now been further reinforced cause I don't even have the vaguest clue why I was pissed that day.
Hence, MTV is not always Fully Faltu.

Tarae.....

saw "Tarae zameen pur" today. Finally! Thank God I was forewarned about the tear fest and was mentally prepared for it. Came out with only a couple of scenes which got to me.......like the one in which Aamir paints the kid laughing and obviously the last scene when he runs up to him. Nice movie all in all.

Foggy Days

23rd is my flight from Del to B'lore and the fog is on the rise! In all my wisdom I got the booking done for the 9am flight but looking at the conditions I feel even that to will be a bit too early. It's 12:30pm and the fog is still very much there over here in Lucknow. I guess, I should be mentally prepared for a long haul at the airport. And with two kids in tow, that should be fun!
